Description: My name is Charles Wigger, from Canada, and I am in the process of researching my grandfather’s Polish military service. This forum site has been a huge asset at getting information and guidance from members on the history of the Polish 2nd Korps. My grandfather, Jan Filipowski, was an Infantry soldier with 2nd Korp, 2nd  Warsaw Armoured Div, 16th Pomeranian Infantry Brigade 64th Battalion and I am creating a shadow box/memorial using an old Polish uniform, medals and the badges he would have managed to acquire. There are a few, hard to find items that I am trying to track down. The first item that I am trying to find is the Polish 2nd Armoured Badge. The second item, the more difficult one to find, is the 64th Battalion of the 16th Pomeranian Infantry Brigade of the 2nd Warsaw Armoured Division beret badge. I’m not looking for top notch museum quality as the rest of my display is showing wear.   If you would consider parting with this item or by chance know of another that may be willing to sell these items so that I may complete my memorial project that would be appreciated.  You can email me back either through this site or I can provide my home email address once contact is made. A special thanks to those members that have assisted me already in the creation of this memorial project.
