Hohenzollersche Denkmünze für Kämpfer von 1848-1849 Circular gilt bronze medal with laterally-pierced ribbed loop for ribbon suspension; the face with the image of the cross pattée alisée of the Royal House Order of Hohenzollern; the reverse inscribed ‘FRIEDRICH WILHELM IV’ and dated ‘1848’ and ‘1849’ above and below parallel lines, circumscribed ‘SEINEN BIS IN DEN TOD GETREUEN KRIEGERN’ (His warrior loyal unto death); slight surface wear and small age oxidisation spots; on a replaced correct short length of ribbon. The medal was instituted by King Friedrich Wilhelm IV on 23 August 1851 in association with the House Order of Hohenzollern for those officers and soldiers who remained loyal during the rebellions of 1848 and 1849. The Prussian army played a crucial role in suppressing not only the rebellions in Prussia but also in Baden and Saxony. Nonetheless, Prussia became a constitutional state in 1849. Description: Original set of WW1 German Imperial army .08 field binoculars, or diensglas. This is a solid WWI military set, in typical wartime green gray non-magnetic finish, with about 70% remaining.  These Imperial army binoculars are WARTIME DARTED " XI.17 " , for November of 1917 issue date, on the front of the bridge that connects the eyepieces. NO rusting, corrosion or dents to the cases. Clear optics, with NO cracks on the lenses and not cloudy. Both original reddish-brown bakelit eyepieces still present; one has it taped with very old tape around it, so I do not know its condition. PLEASE NOTE: the lens guard is NOT included, as it is being sold separately. The auction is for the WWI binoculars with their neck strap only.

One side of rear looks to have been re-stitched, period done. Replaced rear belt loops as pictured, also done a very long time ago. Brown leather is un-dyed, and in very good shpae, supple and pliable. NO brittleness, fraying or damage.  Only $199. I accept PAYPAL.

Description: Very nice and rare friedensrock for a Landwehr Cavalry Lt. Wonderful collar and cuff braiding. Loops for a short Medal Bar. Friedensrocks are uncommon and a Landwehr Cavalry Rock is extremely rare. Regular Landwehr Cavalry tunics are rare. Decent size. The visor cap that would be appropriate for display is the same as infantry colors.

Description: Really neat German Prussian Meerschaum pipe. It is a large size, 7.5 inches long  3 inches high (19 cm x 7.5 cm). It has a delightful Prussian spike helmet for the bowl cap and a victorian carved head. The pipe has some very light yellowing where it has been held while smoking barely noticable. It has not been burned out and could be smoked for years to come if you like a pipe. As a Meerschaum pipe collectable it is very desirable. The helmet bowl cap being an unusual addition. Meerschaum characture pipes sell new for $300.00 and up. I has a case with it but I do not think it is original to the pipe. A real bargain at the listed price
