    Dear Friends,

This is my first post of such a medal and I do not know if I have the correct name for it. I tried to use the German Terminology and this is my best guess. Please inspect the medal and let me know what you think. What other pictures should I ask for?

    Thanks,

    William

    Hello William,
I have no idea who L/50 is but as far as I know, there is no maker of spange allotted that number.
This one is a stinker anyways so, no need for any other photos..

Well, L/50 would be Gebruder Godet (PK Nr 21) but although they did make the EKI I don't believe they produced spangen.

However, as stated above that is a moot point because this one is a really poor attempt anyway. Looks more like a puffin than an eagle!

    Default Zimmermann/Godet

Here is a plancet that was found at the ruins of the Zimmermann/Godet factory. This spange as far as I know was never produced. Jim

Yep, and as one would expect it shows a much more refined design than the "Sh***hawk" at the top of this thread

The Godet factory was destroyed by allied bombing before production yielded the final item (as far as we know ) but one can clearly see the difference in design quality.
