    Looks a good piece Roger with some frosting remaining in the recesses.

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

    I've always thought these frosted eagles looked so iconic, and this is a Nice one. The silver frost is, as Adrian said, still showing in the recesses and this gives it a great character in appearance, I think! Nice and pretty to have them totally untouched and in their cases, but this one? It's been Issued...Worn...and it's Been somewhere and witnessed History. Nice find!
