I would highly recommend not tinkering with the prongs. If one breaks, it reduces the value.

I agree with Michael.
Although his example has a low maker's mark while this example has a mid maker's mark.
Both are original.

The Deumer zincs do not hold their finish as some other makers, and nothing wrong with this one. Jim
