    Looks like a nice "frosted" unissued item...just my thoughts as I am not a 3rd R collector...however I had a Medic in the 80s that served in late WW2 and brought back a shoe box full of unissued badges in there cases, he gave me one of those.

    Just My Thoughts.

    err, what does "frosted" mean? silver plated?

    Frosted is the white layering that is applied to the medal, it is not the same as silver plated (I have never seen silver plate used on spanges). Jim
