After I found this forum, I read threads and went through my collection to see which seemed obvious fakes and which I thought were good. I am posting what is left in my collection ( after I removed the items that I thought were fakes ) and I would very much appreciate your comments and thoughts as to the authenticity. I took as good pictures as I possibly could.
    These are my EK 2s.

Thanks to all in advance for your thoughts and comments.

Both are good. Are they marked on the suspension ring?

The one on the right is a '24' Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Hanauer Plaket-ten-hersteller.

Ingrid is definitely correct! I'm not sure of the other maker, the inner corner beading looks familiar but I can't check it at the moment. Maybe one of the others can identify it in the meantime.

Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

i agree with Ingrid. wide frame of Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Hanauer Plakettenhersteller. guild craftsmen made and should be marked "24" on suspension ring.

Or not, these weren't always marked so don't worry if you can't find one.

Hey guys, after a long time...

    Ingrid,

the one on the right has no markings. the one on the left has a 132 marked, which turned out to be Franz Reischauer.

I thought the number on the suspension ring was the RZM M1/XXX. it appears that I was wrong as RZM M1/24 turned out to be Overhoff & Cie-Lüdenscheid. (RZM M1/ makers Codes)

Could some one please let me know the manufacteror 132 stamped on this medal?

    Thanks
