Article about: Hi all, I ordered an EK2 which arrived this evening; it's a lovely piece but unfortunately it's slightly bent. I wondered if it would be safe to put it in a vice to bend it back into shape o

    It's a Deschler. A good maker of quality crosses. Please do not attempt to bend it back as you may well do irreversible damage to it.

    What may happen if you attempt to straighten it is that because it's of three piece construction when you apply force to the bent section the other two pieces may delaminate near where the force was applied.
    I'd leave it it's fine I would have it for sure.
