Marked L53 on pin. Can't get a photo of mark. Camera does not have macro lens capability.
L 53 is Hymmen & Co. Ludenscheid.
Comments welcome.

Very nice cross, SteveR! Thanks for showing.

Hi Steve, sorry to question it, but are you sure it is a Hymenn?
I have never seen one marked on the pin also I cant see the tademark grooves in the beading. Maybe it is just the photos.
Have a look at my example

"In all my years as a soldier, I have never seen men fight so hard." - SS Obergruppenfuhrer Wilhelm Bittrich - Arnhem
Can you get a closer shot of the beading please
Nick

The dates are different too.....
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Here we go guys.
The close up photo of the beading. It is as close as I can get.
The stamp on the back of the pin is elusive at best after fiddling with this damned camera this is the best image that I can get on the mark on the back of the pin. I absolutly cannot read the stamp on the top.
There is a good possibility that it may not be L53. My eyes are not what they use to be.

Hi Steve
Thanks for the extra pics.
I am sure its not a Hymenn. Maybe a F Zimmermann or an Orth ? I will have to consult my 'bible' again.
