I believe the paint is just flaking. Noticable rust on the front. I bought it many years ago for I liked the slight
green tinting in the silver frame.
These never get old!
Good solid piece with the paint flaking off in spots, possibly because it has bubbled over time.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Original Deumer indeed.
