It looks like a C.F. Zimmermann pin to me, check on the underside of the pin for a "20" stamp.

You are right. It is original, early pinback version, Deumer EK1.

I am absolutely sure Ralph. This is probably quite scarce example of EK1, but it is made by Deumer. Although hinge and pin remind on C.F. Zimmermann hardware they are not completely the same and catch is totally different from C.F.Zimmermann example.

I agree with Franko, for me this is an early Deumer to.

I would say according to Frank Thaters EK1 book this cross has frame type 1a and core type 1a.
