Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse L/54 Schauerte und Höhfeld

Hi Guys,

Just been to a local Militaria fair. Got a few new EK´s among other things.
One was this L/54 I would like to show to you.
It retains about 90% of original finish with "hoch polierten Kanten"
Just the amounth of wear that I prefer !

Very nice! I have just noticed your example has the same strange marking on the pin as mine, just above the catch

Yes, it does, and the line/mark at the hinge aswell. Must be tool marks from production . Needles has been cut from a long piece of metal side by side, probably with the marks allready on it ??!!
