Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse, maker?

Hi Chaps.
I recently bought this EK1, and was told at the time that it was an unmarked E Ferdinand Wiedmann. But having checked in the book by Maerz and Stimson, it doesn't look like this makers hardware.
Can anyone help identify the EK's maker please.

Thanks for that. I thought the thread would have attracted a bit more input, but appreciate your thoughts. The book by Maerz and Stimson doesn't have it, so must be a touch out of date. Shame the Frank Thater book isn't printed in English, I wonder if this variant is in there?
