The hardware is probably a 3rd pin set up . My example is a 2nd pin set up I believe and according to the excellent EK1 DNA

The pin looks like 3rd pinsetup, and the catch is 7th,and left sided. Is that ok?

Is it possible, that EK1 had a replaced catch?

No this is no replace catch ! A replacement catch would have to be soft soldered since the frame and back are soft soldered :-)
This catch is hard soldered !
