    ORIGINAL POST ----------------------------

Another nice EK2, 100 marked this time. This one is one a friend is looking at, and I believe it's a good one. But, before putting my name behind his purchase, I wanted to make sure I wasn't leading him astray.

    I really appreciate you guys!

I like it too, typlical W&L construction IMO.

You guys are the best! Can't wait to get this in my buddy's hands. He's been talking about getting an EK2 since I started buying TR stuff again. Two nice '100' EK2's in as many days. When it rains, it pours.

W&Ls aren't exactly rare but they sure do hold their finish better than most makers.

    Here's a W&L EK1 of mine...

Nice crosses guys. I'll be adding my own example to the mix in a week or two. I might take some photos of this one too, before it lands in its final home.

I have 3 WWII iron crosses, two of them are W&L and I've always wondered why/how they keep their finish after so many years. Does anyone know?

W&L had a unique and secret frosting process which enabled the finish to remain
