A fine example of a Hammer cross.
Is it just the pictures or has it been cleaned? - the wear on the core doesn't seem to match the condition of the frame.

hi danny thanks for the comment, it may well have been who knows only if the outer frames were dark wouldnt the inner beading be aswell and i would think that hard to clean because of all the little grooves? anyway i dont much care as it was only £50 posted.

It's a wooden case that I keep my crosses in (I don't have them on display). I found it in a shop a few years back and liked the "antique" look of it. The EK1 on the front is a repro that I butchered to use as a decoration on it.
Here's the lot packed away... (I'm afraid I'm running out of space in it!)
