I just received this EK2 marked 86 - for Paulmann & Crone. It looks OK to me, but I am seeking your opinions so I can make sure I don't have another 'oops'. Thanks!

Thanks, Nick. That is what it was supposed to be! I was a little busy at work and read it as 86. And thought, well, people make mistakes! And they do, especially this person! I appreciate that, and got a chuckle out of it to boot!
Normal mistake on these! Paulmann & Crone crosses are never marked so if you find one it's either a Souval such as above or not a Paulmann & Crone.
If you can identify a Souval you shouldn't have the same problem again! The first post in this thread will give you some pointers.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Thank you, Ade. I appreciate the link, and will add that to my reference files.
Nice Souval, Roger!

Thank you, Ingrid. I have compared it to the one described in Ade's link above, and it matches nicely. Es geht immer weiter.

The birds foot beading looks very cool. Nice EK2 Roger
