l,ve had this Eisernes Kreuz II for a few years, it has never tarnished? always had doubts about it, check the dates, they are crooked, magnetic, nice detail, but those dates?, and no maker, soldered ribbon ring....appreciate any comments..

better pics of the dates, now i look closer the 1939 looks ok, but the 1813 look off center? Strange it has not tarnished any, but i now notice the paint is starting to ripple a little..cheerz

Compare the dates with the crosses posted in this thread, especially the reverse date. Check the position of the numerals in relation to each other and the shape of that reverse '3'.........
