This cross arrived today. I believe that someone made a mistake when it was sold to me. I have never seen a Deumer with this kind of texture but, then again, I do not always recognise the trademarks of a Deumer.

After taking photos and enlarging them, I found that I believe it is maker marked L/10, Deschler. I have done a little research and found the examples that I have seen have a hump where the jump ring is attached. I have added new photos and would appreciate if someone would be able to verify if what I am seeing is correct or not.

I have taken photos of the frame as well.

Strange one Ralph. It is of course a Deumer frame and a Deumer core, there are no Deschler features there whatsoever. The maker's mark doesn't look like the last digit is a '1' either.

But - looking at the mark, the top half is missing yet we can clearly see a small 'o', not the bottom half of a bigger '0'. So it's either a real L/11 with a poor makers mark or its marked as something else. L/16? L/18? Neither of which used an incuse stamp such as above to the best of my memory.

Well, I have taken some more photos and this is what I have come up with.
It would appear that the second "1" in L/11 has a dent on the stem. These photos are of the same ring, I have just changed the camera angle and the light angle.
