    Hi guys,

I thought that I could post first iron cross which I have ever bought and this is not just mine first EK this is actually first Third Reich item which I have ever bought, so all started with this beautiful iron cross. And although there are probably better crosses than this from Moritz Hausch, example made by this maker remained my favourite in terms of second class iron crosses. And I just recently have bought another one EK2 from this maker and all in all I now have few pieces of Moritz Hausch EK2. And there is no doubt at all that this one is absolutely special piece for me among all other items which I have and it will always be.

A nice example from a desirable maker.
These, as far as I know, are never marked and it was only about 7 years ago that these were attributed to Moritz Hausch.
One I don't have in my collection yet.

    Franko,

Indeed a cross worthy to adorn any medal case! I see why these can become addictive. lol

Thank you Ralph, Joel. I agree Ralph, these EK2 should be always unmarked and they are just in the recent years atributted to Moritz Hausch. Lovely pieces they are, really, I hope Ralph that you will find one for yourself very soon.

    Best regards,

A lovely cross Franco, a great way to start your TR collection. I know that this will always be a special item in your collection because my first EK was a rather ruff Imperial 2nd Class but it holds a special place in my collection. I nice maker to have as well, Thanks for sharing.
