Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse - Paulmann & Crone

Hi,

Here is my latest EK2 addition, a very nice Paulmann & Crone (Lüdenscheid).

I have noticed that some Paulmann & Crone EK2 has a "bridge" between 1 and 9 in the date (like mine), and some not.

Does that indicate two different cores that has been used?

A very nice P&C Jonas! IMO the cores are all the same, just a worn die I think.

Is the core magnetic?
