Looks like a real cross to me...it's obviously multi-piece construction. Can't tell you much more than that, due to its relic condition...
cheers, Glenn
Thanks Glenn, I forgot to mention that the ring has a number marking but it's badly damaged with corrosion.
Real for sure, but maker ..?

I would say this one is a TAD salty. With the other fine examples of EK'2's out there, you may consider one of those? Hope you dont pay much for this one.
It's an original '24' which has obviously seen much better days........
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
I dont see it Adrian. Where is the 24?
Wow has that just come out of Stalingrad or the Normandy beaches??
Thanks everybody for your feedback.
Nick I don't know the maker, I'm new a this and I don't know how to find that out. There's a marking on the ring but I can't make out what it is.
Octavian I bought it for €40, was it too much?
Richarduk I bought it from Poland, the guy that sold it to me said it's from the eastern front.
