Eisernes Kreuz 2nd Class

Folks,

This is my recently obtained Eisernes Kreuz 2nd Class. Perhaps not at glamorous as some other items or indeed Eisernes Kreuz 1st Class, but I figured it was an iconic item that should be in my collection. There are no markings on the ring.
Any comments or opinions on authenticity welcome.

Thanks Nick + Brodie.
I know very little about EKs, so initially i was concerned it may be a fake. I did the magnet test and i can also clearly see that it is 3 part construction - not necessarily a guarantee, but definitely a good sign.
Nice to also know the maker too.
