Eisernes Kreuz 2nd class variant?

Hi Everyone. I have this Iron Cross 2nd class. 3 part construction Iron Core (magnetic). Very neatly finished, so assume 100% its authentic. No maker mark though. It's different to any other Iron Cross I have seen due to the rim being set higher and also smooth on the outer edge. Normally this goes all the way round. Notice the finish on the corners too. Nicely done.

Please take a look and let me know what you think and who the possible manufacturer could be.

It looks like a Souval. Not sure weather wartime or post war though.

As Nick said it's a nice original Souval Alan. All the features are there that you would expect to find from this maker.
