Re: Iron Cross 2nd Class
Yeah, I saw that it's unmarked, how is that going to be with the price? less, more? nothing? :P
Or is it just harder to know who made it? :P

From that wide frame, and the form of the digits, I'd say it is an original unmarked '24' (Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Hanauer Plaket-ten-Hersteller).
It is a fine original EK2 by Gustav Brehmer - '13'.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Re: Eisernes Kreuz 2nd Klasse.
Adrian is right, it is a maker '13' EKII (Brehmer). My apologies Sebastian. The frame isn't quite wide enough to be a '24'. Pretty similar though!

They are somewhat more desirable for most collectors when marked, but there is no big difference in price. In my experience a marked cross is just worth slightly more as a rule of thumb (there are exceptions to this rule of thumb).
