Hi Lowboy, yes you are correct it is an EK1 Spange awarded to soldiers in WW2 who had already won the EK1 in WW1. I have recently started to study Spangen and it is too early for me to comment on its authenticity but these guys were heavily faked.
The pin set up looks like it was made by Deumer
