Re: iron cross
i have never heard of this marking on an iron cross...some imperial ek's were letter marked but none from the third reich period are marked with letters

Re: iron cross
Hi Mart
EK2s from the TR were either number marked or were prefixed with L/..
It could be a poorly stamped 100 mark
Any chance of a pic?

Re: Eisernes Kreuz mm???
As Robert says, was it definitely a TR EK? First class or second class?
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Re: Eisernes Kreuz mm???
it was supposed to be ek 1 sorry no pictures it was on a stall at a antique fair,,,, to be honest even with my limited knowledge and no spectacles with me i just some how knew to walk away, as i have some good reference books and not once is any type of ek 1 or 2 refered to having letters instead of the single letter and number system, but thanks once again for your replys, mart
