ek 2 marked KC in the ring

Article about: Could you guys enlight me on thise one. I tought one would only find numbers in the ring, but thise one reads KC or KO... I have got thise for quiet a time, it came in a lot.

    Could you guys enlight me on thise one.

    It looks like a 'KO' to me, so I believe it is a Königliches Münzamt Orden, Berlin as posted in the list of WWI EKII makers that Adrian shared with us recently.

    An Imperial KO marked ring on a TR EK2! Does the ribbon ring or suspension ring show any break or signs of resoldering? If you can post a full pic of the whole cross we can tell you the maker of it. Either way, they don't belong together.
    In the meantime, here is a marked KO from 1914.......

    Yes the ring is open at the soldering.

    Zoom in, right hand side just over half way down...looks like a seam.
