Mine certainly looks exactly like your EK (just not the same bautiful condition).
Does the "3" has to be stamped, so its upright when you turn the cross around, or can it be stamped any which way (upside down, slightly slanted etc)?
Because if the latter is the case, there might be a 3 in there (on my EK).

Scout, I wouldnt worry too much about the 3 as they are a poor quality stamp on every example for some reason
