EK Question

Hi guys

I posted these photos earlier in the wrong area (with other items) and had some great comments, but was advised to re-post here.

I think I may be dissapointed. The inside corners have caused the most doubt, along with the general quality.
As a novice i don't have the "hands on" experience I'd like, so can anyone recommend a good reference book?

I bought from a local auction so hoped it would be checked out. Hmmm....

Hello Brian.

Unfortunately the cross is a fake and most likely the ribbon too. It doesn't match any genuine one piece crosses from the TR era.

As for reference books there are plenty out there but the forum is a very good reference and the numerous threads on EKs here will provide you with the best information to be going on with. If there's anything you can't find an answer to, just ask!

At least the other items have been OK'd on the forum and I got them for a reasonable price so not a total disaster!
I won't let this put me off.

These are the things I didn't know when I saw the EK. I had no idea how they were made and couldn't tell the difference anyway!
Joining this forum was a great move.
