    Nothing wrong with that one.

    IMO it is a typical Mayer cross that has been hand vaulted.
    You can tell by the slight lifting of the beading at the centre corners near the swastika and the obvious bends on the reverse plate.

    Yep, nice cross, the hand vaulting is a nice touch as it makes it more likely to have been worn if the recipient went to the trouble of shaping it like that.

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
