EK1 L/18 - BH Mayer

Just bought this marked Mayer. A bit salty but I have checked it out and it seems ok and it was a good price too

Does anyone have any concerns?

I've just compared it to an image of an original, and it seems to match up quite well Nick. The maker mark is in exactly the same place, with identical form too. Date and beading seem good too. I would say that your piece shown above, is a nice worn example. I don't see any major areas of concern anyway.

Yes Nick, I have just checked the position of the maker mark. Slightly right of centre seems correct.

Much better photographs Nick, shows the EK for what she is, i.e. a nice, used example with a touch of character. I like this one, and the fact that you got it without breaking the piggy bank, is an added bonus. Out of interest, what's the count up to on your EKI's now?
