    Have an EK1, not sure if it is real, but it looks right to me, but what do I know...pictures attached (if I do it right) The box is what it came in, but i know this is not the original box.

    I think it is a genuine Deschler EK1 although please wait for more opinions for more experienced members to let you know what they think, the box is for a KVK first class with swords.

    I agree...a Deschler-made cross in a KvK !st Class case...

    Yep I have to agree with Nick, it is more common to see an EK1 stamped with 'L10' rather than '1'

    I meant the '1' shape is different to most other '1's you see Glen

    Oh I see. When I was looking through my EK1 saved pictures to check to see if the catch and pin construction was ok, I found more pictures with 'L/10' rather than '1' and I thought that was what you were referring to.

    That's what made me worry, didn't find any examples of this type of "1" stamp.
