Much better pics are needed of the ek1. The ek2 looks like a good '75'.

I wake up at night sometimes in fear about loosing the finish on my EK collection. What is the main deteriorating factor in finish reduction in your opinion. I want to make sure I am storing them properly!

Nick,

Lol! So do I!
I dont think any cross kept in dark ambient conditions will ever loose it's finish.i think the ones we see have maybe been exposed to the elements at some stage
