Greetings. This EK2 was given to me by a German colleague. It belonged to his father who was station in (renamed after WW2) Campbell Barracks in Heidelberg. He served in the Russian Front (I was also given his wound badge and parade medals).
This has no marking on the ring. It is magnetic. Ideas on origin? Thanks!

    Hi

In my opinion it looks like a original S&L EK2!

    Thanks

Cameron is correct. It is original and looks like a Steinhauer & Luck type.
