From the pics the EK set looks ok.
The small badge is not HJ though. I have not seen that before but the pin set upo could be period

he has informed me that the ek2 isnt marked, does that change your opinion on it?, i know there's a few unmarked crosses but i don't know enough about them to have a opinion on them

Unmarked EK's are perfectly fine. They tend to be ealy war as the marking system wasnt enforced until later

Nothing wrong with the EK or the document. The other small badge is like a tinnie so it might be worth posting it in the Non Combat forum for the members to take a look at.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Some closeup photos wouldn't go amiss either. If the seller is serious to sell he should provide you with additional photos without complaint.
The EK is an '8' variant.

Slight problem with the document IR 207 was never a part of the 101 Leichte Division or the later 101 Jager Divison , during it's existance it was part of the 97 Leichte Divison !!
