The cross belonged to Oberfeldwebel Wilhelm Clausen, Luftwaffe Honor Goblet recipient 19.06.1942.

How on earth do you know that? Was a grouping/estate broken up by the seller?

Thanks Anton, I hadn't checked the update. Yes, it's always sad to see a grouping get broken up after so many years. It would be nice on occasion to see a thread where someone has re-united an estate after it was broken up. I have seen a few bits and pieces come back together over the years but it's very much an exception.

What a shame these groupings have to be split. I suppose a grouping is difficult to sell due to the price
