Just got another Ek2 for my collection, the ring is marked but it is unreadable. Can anyone attribute it to a maker?
I think it could either be 11 or L/11 but i am not sure.
Hope you like it

It looks like a Deumer so most probably an L/11 mark

Cheers Nick I knew you would know
Sorry, but in my opinion this is not a Deumer, but rather one of the '333' fakes.
Notice the small chunk missing from the second 1 in the 1813 date, and I think I can see the flaw on the three o'clock arm.
Compare your cross features to this one....

Thanks for pointing this out, there is a bit missing from the 1 and looking closer I do see the flaw. But the core is magnetic and does rattle.
I will post some pics with better lighting tomorrow for more opinions and If it turns out bad I can always sent it back.
Hi Adam,
I hope there is no problem returning it.
These 333 fakes are very difficult to spot if you are not aware of what to look for, as they are made just like the originals complete with magnetic core and 3 piece assembly. They have fooled hundreds of collectors over the years.
Sadly, your cross is definitely one of them.
Regards - Danny
An excellent eye as usual Danny !!

Thanks for pointing out this well-made reproduction...I must admit I probably would have been fooled by this one...I hope the cross can be returned...
cheers, Glenn
