EK2 opinions please

good afternoon gentlemen ,ive owned this award for a few years now and would really like a definitive answer to it being real or reproduction just for my own peace of mind ,it measures exactly 44mm by 44mm the center shows rust spots here and there and is attracted when passed over a magnet, the ring has no number stamp visible if anybody can help it would be very much appreciated cheers james

Appears to be an original...well done! Sorry I can't help with the maker, perhaps someone else will come along to help...

many thanks glenn and adrian for having a look over her ,im a bit wet behind the ears when it comes to recognising originals from fakes i have just had a huge sigh of relief , the medal is a bit worn compared to the condition of the ribbon is this normal ,my next question was to ask the maker so many thanks adrian for letting me know kind regards james

I agree with Adrian this is an unmarked S&L
I will find photos of my S&L for comparisons.

Don't forget S&L frames turn up on many different makers EKs so although it has an S&L frame, it doesn't automatically mean it's from this maker but in the absence of any makers marks we will never know.
