EK2 unmarked I think??

Hello Ladies & Gents I was wondering if you could do me a favour? & cast your mince pies over this EK & see if anybody can ID the maker??. Now I had a look on the ring over Christmas but I couldn't see any numbers I even ask the girls "daughters " to look with their younger eyes & no luck!! So I'm just wondring what do I write on my record card for this award?? Thank you very much for your time & efforts...Cheers Terry.

Looks like a '24' to me Terry.

I like the cross...Is this considered a "wide-frame", or am I mistaken?

'24's are the wide framed crosses along with '93's to a lesser extent.

Adrian I'm trying to find the list of makers? but be damned if I can? I'm looking the EK forum & the stickys but I can't find them!!!..Help please old bean??.. I will look again just to make sure I'm being a jellyhead!!! Cheers Terry.

That's the one Terry.

The wide frame is so called because the frame of the cross is slightly wider than a 'regular' cross. The flange is a bit wider.

Right Adrian the silver bit is slightly wider you say then!!! Thats good now I can get the Missus to write that on my record cards..So at least I know what I am looking at!! instead of an Iron Cross.. Are there any good books on EKs!! I have just bought a book on the German Cross from B&D publishers which looks good "not seen yet stuck working"..Thanks again Adrian for your time & effort I will leave you alone soon?? lol. There is a good one on EK1s from the same publishers and a forthcoming EK2 book next year I believe.
