Hi,
here is my second new arrival, which I bought on holiday in Germany along with the EK1 and Assmann packet, all from the same source.
A mint ek2 by maker W&L mm100 on the ring.
I absolutely love the frosting on these.
regards John

Lovely addition John, congrats on getting this very nice EK2...
I am also a fan of the frosting on these minty examples.
Very Nice, hope you enjoyed your holiday!

Very good. Hope didnt cost to much.
John,
You really can't get much better than this, the packet as well. A beautiful set.

Hi Franz, to be honest the price for the W&L ek2 set was very fair €150 / £130 at the exchange rate at the time.
Considering what you see some eks going for now, some are pure crazy prices.
Hi Fischer, nice to see you again. Yes brilliant holiday from hiking in the mountains in Austria, to visiting Nurnberg, Munchen and Stuttgart. Absolutely the best.
Thanks Adrian, I am chuffed you like it. Regards John
That is a very nice W&L. I just love them in this condition!
I buy them every time I see them! I can't stop!
Beautiful Mint W&Ls are an absolute delight and yours is stunning John !!

I often find myself slightly disappointed that W&L didn't produce a Ritterkreuz. If their attention to the quality of finish on their EK1 & 2's is anything to go by, just imagine how impressive a Ritterkreuz would be...........

Adrian, how right are you! If Wachtler und Lange made an RK. I would be back to that little antique shop, just round the corner from the Reichsparteitag building pronto! Ha Ha!
I think your both right though, they certainly made beautiful crosses. An RK would have been absolutely stunning.
Pity they didnt.
