    Hello All...

While this photograph is not limited to just the 1939 EK, I wanted to show my latest acquisition, and I'm sure you other EK guys will appreciate it! I have recently managed to add a cross to my collection that I had thought I might never own an example of.....

Here they are - the second class family.

    1813 EK2 - 'Blücher Style'
    1870 EK2 - 'A type' EK2
    1914 EK2 - 'FR'
    1939 EK2 - '60' marked K&D
    1957 EK2 - S&L

Hope you all like the set.

    Regards - Danny

    Nicely done.

Did the 1813 come from Barry at Emedals?

Great acquisition Danny...it is very satisfying to know after a long hunt...that you can be proud of a won trophy. I know the feeling very well. Here is my quote from the dagger forum a while back concerning your thread title. ( Quote: Nothing is Impossible. I have seen some of the craziest things happen..and how things come to a persons direction if they put their mind and soul to it first ( End quote )

Do nothing..you get nothing..work hard and your tree bears fruit. Congrats on fulfilling a dream. Regards Larry

Thanks guys for all the positive comments.

I really never thought that I would ever manage to add an 1813 to the collection so I really am very pleased to have landed this beauty. Although I forgot to mention, the ribbon attached is an aged fake used only for balance in the photos.

    @ Greg -
No, it's not from Barry at emedals.
You have seen this one before - I picked it up on the WAF estand from Michel.

    @ Nick -
Yes, that's the same marked '60' that I have had for years - it's the one marked 1939 EK2 that I could not let go!

    Thanks again everyone. cool military

    Regards - Danny
