I can tell you that the ribbon on the EK is fake...which raises my suspicions of the cross. The photos aren't good enough for me to tell 100%. But the SA Sports Badge is a nice orignal...
cheers, Glenn
The EK looks original from these images but better pics will be needed for maker identification. I will refrain from passing judgement on the ribbon until we can get a better pic of it but I wouldn't rule it out just yet.
The SA Sportsabzeichen looks ok but you should start another thread in the main Orders and Decorations forum for that one.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
From the pic, the ribbon looks odd.
I have some serious concerns about the EK itself...
maybe it is just the angles of the photographs but the flange widths are very irregular.
Also the 1813 date - it looks to match the one on a (very good) fake I purchased recently for study purposes (and I believe the frame also matches). I will post some pictures tomorrow for comparison.

Thanks a lot for all your comments and observations. !
I think with all this doubt, I will pass this time :-)

Good move. There are plenty out there!

This guy is asking about 90 euros for the both, a fairly good price I think, if everything was all right ?!
I had my concerns about the ribbon too !

Here are some pictures of the fake (magnetic core, german silver frames) I referred to earlier. The style of the 1813 date (especially the right slanting 3) look very similar, and I believe the frames may also be a match.
I notice the jump ring looks like it has been repaired in the cross posted for discussion, which may also be of interest, because I dropped my cross after taking these pictures and although the impact was very slight, the ring broke off mine too!
Also shown is a fake 'Round 3' with exactly the same frame.... and another broken/repaired jump ring.
