Ratisbons is having an auction next week. I think they have one up for sale. Maybe this will give an indication of current market prices

Depends. Anywhere from $4,000 to $12,000. That's the price range I have seen. Haven't seen one for sale for a while now so not sure where the prices are at the moment. Consider buying a 1957 version. They're much cheaper, a great way to fill the void without emptying the bank account and they're just as real as wartime crosses as they were authorized by the government, so when it comes to the iron cross timeline they're legit.

These are currently for sale on the following fora.....
-->WAF
2 x St&l: $8500
3 x K&Q: $8000/$8500/$10500
-->GCA
K&Q: €8290
Juncker: €9290
....to give you a price estimate.

Nick

Was there ever such a thing as a miniature Ritterkreuz version on ribbon (not 1957)? Just asking because I seem to remember Weitze adding one described as such not too long back --- but I was unable to come up with any more info at the time.

William,
Awarded is the key word. Right? Probably a significant number also liberated for stock. Still though, very rare.
