From the pics, it seems to be a 'standard' S&L type.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Outstanding gentlemen, again, thank you very much.
It's always nicer to have the maker as a reference, I like to put the maker on the back of my framed displays.
