Hi guys. What you say is not entirely correct. Although most crosses have a iron core, there were some made with brass cores. These are however not KM crosses as everyone thinks.

it was only a sugestion! my point was that there was some ek's whit brass core, and not all medals is maker marked but still orginal medals

Hi. All I said was that there were brass cores made and that they were not to be regarded as KM medals because of this. The point you made about makers marks, etc, was not even touched on.

guys the cross is fine
brass core or not it is a verry nice example from ww1
