    Hello,

    A very nice cross!
    My first impression is that you may have landed yourself quite a rare cross. I would like to see better photographs of the 1939 date to make sure, but I think that this cross might be an early Godet (before they started using the Zimmermann frame with the high bead count).
    Compare it to this early Godet EK2 - do the dates match? (It's difficult to see the date clearly on your picture):
