no one feel this is a original schinkel ?
cheers ewan
Hi Ewan,
No, sorry... I believe this one is a known fake.
Note the huge variation of flange width from the centre to the end of the arms.

hi danny thanks for your veiw on this i thought we would have had more opinions on this
thanks again mate regards ewan
Hi Ewan,
i wish i could tell you right off if its good or bad, but i honestly dont know. besides the variation in flange width, i noticed the numbers just look odd, and the ridge that seperates the flange and beading seems to be missing in places, front and back. on the back, the upper and lower right side of the cross are missing parts of it. could just be my eyes though. i have a book showing pictures of a ships machinist making iron crosses by hand on board ship. i would think he was not the only one doing it during the war. so while it may not be a factory made cross, and if its flaws dont fit known fakes like flock etc. then any thing is possable. good luck.

hi andrew i think maybe better pictures would be needed i shall ask the seller for more
Ewan
I tend to agree with Andrew, the numbers do look a bit odd.
