My collection so far......

Hi guys, thought I'd show a pic of my small but growing collection, I'm not on here often as I work alot of dodgy hours, but still felt since you've given me advice over the years I'd show you all where I'm at so far. I'm still not sure of where I wanna go with this I.e collect one of every German medal (Cept silly priced items like blue maxes). Hope you like and thanks again for the help!Attachment 420652

Well I keep looking at eastern front medals and the western wall medal, BUT I think a otto schinkel would go nicely.......

Great items you got

The Eastern front and West wall medals your looking at would go nice with it.
However as Glenn said ek's are always nice unless you get the disease

Thanks for the kind words! Thing is I keep my medals in an album (3bay classic medal album) and I need a bit of variation, I'm not mad on the items without ribbons like ek1s for some reason. But I keep being drawn towards schinkels and also wouldn't mind a 57. Ill see how I feel after Xmas though before my next purchase!

Didn't know their was a difference!?!? Sorry I'm still coming to terms with my M.C.D (medal collecting disorder) can i be a pain and ask the difference?

Otto SCHICKLE was a maker of awards, look down the page a bit, Nick (Woolgar) started a thread for this maker and you can see some of his EKs there.

SCHINKEL is the collector's term for a distinctive shape of EK, more akin to the Imperial shape. Again, try a seach in this forum as I made a comparison photo a couple of years ago.
