Hi guys
as promised, today evening, with the benefit of the last sun rays, I take these 3 pics. we can see the standard Deschler unmarked, marked, 1914 cored, round 3, and from the famous hoard.. on the bottom the tick R3 that comes with that packet, maybe Deschler, who knows ?
I have to say that these ones from the hoard not so fine than the earlys..
I love the early type, very very nice IMO, and very massive (25 gr.) in fact Deschler is in of the top 3 of my preferred makers.
P.S. as background I used a couple of Urkunde.
A fine collection Fabri, thank you for posting them. It shows that collecting EKs can be a lifetime's work to obtain all the variants from every maker. Look at the amount of different variants from the first two PKZ makers, Deschler and Juncker!
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Thanks guys.
Yes Adrian, pure true. Actually I just buy variants (or just because nice) of my preferred makers, the others lost great part of my interest.
Nick, my top 3 about EKIIs are Deschler Juncker and Godet. The real # 1 is Godet because their crosses have the best design IMO.
But I appreciate very much Deumer and Steinhauer & Luck for their construction quality too, because their crosses are so common but always so perfect...
